INSTRUCTIONS: MISSISSIPPI NON-RESIDENT/PART-YEAR RESIDENT AMENDED INDIVIDUAL TAX RETURN (Form 80-270)

 

 

Mississippi non-residents and part-year residents who owe income tax to the state use a form 80-270 if they must amend their initial return. This document can be found on the website of the Mississippi Department of Revenue.

 

Mississippi Non-Resident/Part-Year Resident Amended Individual Tax Return 80-270 Step 1: At the top of the form, enter your name, address and Social Security number. If you file jointly with your spouse, enter their name and Social Security number as well.

 

Mississippi Non-Resident/Part-Year Resident Amended Individual Tax Return 80-270 Step 2: Lines one through five ask you to indicate your filing status with a check mark.

Mississippi Non-Resident/Part-Year Resident Amended Individual Tax Return 80-270 Step 8: On lines 18 through 21, calculate your taxable income as instructed. Your income tax due will be determined on line 22.
