Alabama agriculture and industries may use the form discussed in this article to apply for farmland protection and conservation provided their land must be at least 50% open, and that at least 50% of the offered farmland is prime farmland. Open farmland is defined as land which is used for pasture, hayland or crops. You may also file this form if you have nationally or state registered historical or archeological sites on the property. You may wish to contact your local Natural Resources Conservation Service office for information on which specific soils on your farm that qualify as prime farmland soils.

Maricopa County law requires a setback of 50 feet from onsite wastewater systems to undeveloped property lines if water is supplied by individual wells in the area. If this is not possible, you may obtain the consent of your neighbor to allow your wastewater system to encroach onto their property by having them complete the affidavit discussed in this article. This affidavit can be obtained from the website maintained by Maricopa County.

Maricopa County General Onsite Application Step 1: Indicate with a check mark whether you wish to have a site investigation, a site and test hole inspection, a miscellaneous review or reconnect plan review, or a septic systems abandonment or closure. For the latter two categories, enter your existing permit number.
