INSTRUCTIONS: NEW HAMPSHIRE PETITION FOR DIVORCE (Form NHJB-2057-FS)
If you wish to obtain a divorce in New Hampshire, you can file a solo petition for divorce against your spouse. This Form NHJB-2057-FS can be found on the website of the New Hampshire Judicial Branch.
New Hampshire Petition For Divorce NHJB-2057-FS Step 1: At the top of the page, write the name of the court and your case.
New Hampshire Petition For Divorce NHJB-2057-FS Step 2: In sections one and two, enter the full names, addresses and home telephone numbers of both spouses.
New Hampshire Petition For Divorce NHJB-2057-FS Step 3: In section three, give the date and location of your wedding.
New Hampshire Petition For Divorce NHJB-2057-FS Step 4: In section four, state how long you have resided in New Hampshire.
New Hampshire Petition For Divorce NHJB-2057-FS Step 5: If you do not have minor children, skip to step 7. Otherwise, in section five, enter the names, dates of birth and current address of all minor children involved in the marriage.

In optional section 10, if you believe you or your children could be harmed by public disclosure of the information in this petition, state the reason why. In section 11, indicate whether children are receiving any public health assistance.
