INSTRUCTIONS: CONNECTICUT DISSOLUTION OF MARRIAGE (DIVORCE) JUDGMENT (Form JD-FM-177)

In Connecticut, when a divorce is completed a judge or their assistant clerk will complete a dissolution of marriage (divorce) judgment. This must be completed within 60 days of a judgment being issued and filed with the court clerk. The purpose of this document is to summarize all aspects of this divorce. Connecticut Dissolution Of Marriage (Divorce) Judgment JD-FM-177 Step 1: At the top of the page, the judge will enter the name of the judicial district, the town and the case number, as well as the name and address of both parties.
