Form Divorce Packet 17, & 19 (Clark)

INSTRUCTIONS: CLARK COUNTY COMPLAINT FOR DIVORCE (PACKET 17 & 19)

Spouses who wish to divorce in Clark County, Nevada may choose to represent themselves. This article discusses the Clark County Complaint for Divorce forms, together known as Packet 17 & 19. These documents are for marriages in which the terms of separation are contested and in which there are no children. The packets can be obtained from the website of the Clark County Court System.

Clark County Complaint For Divorce Packet 17 & 19 Step 1: The first document to complete is a Family Court Cover Sheet summarizing basic information about you, your spouse and the nature of your complaint.

Clark County Complaint For Divorce Packet 17 & 19 Step 2: The second document to complete is the actual complaint for divorce. This document requires you to provide information about the length of your marriage, confirm that you do not children, state your wishes regarding alimony and division of property and dates, and make any other actions you wish the court to take known. This document must be signed and dated before a notary public.

Clark County Complaint For Divorce Packet 17 & 19 Step 3: Along with the complaint, you must have a summons served upon your spouse notifying them of the complaint you have filed against them. This document should be filled out by you and signed by a deputy clerk.

Clark County Complaint For Divorce Packet 17 & 19 Step 4: You may wish to complete the Joint Preliminary Injunction, which can be served along with the summons. This cautions spouses against harassment, attempting to take communal property without a judge's ruling, or otherwise violating your rights prior to your hearing. This document is optional.

Clark County Complaint For Divorce Packet 17 & 19 Step 5: An Affidavit of Service form should be completed by whoever serves your spouse.

Clark County Complaint For Divorce Packet 17 & 19 Step 6: Within 45 days of filing your complaint, you must complete a Financial Affidavit detailing your financial circumstances.

INSTRUCTIONS: DELAWARE RULE 16(c) FINANCIAL REPORT (Form 465)

Couples who have divorced or received an annulment in Delaware may have disputes regarding alimony, attorney fee payment or the division of property. In such cases, both parties must submit a Rule 16(c) Financial Report detailing all aspects of their finances. This document is made available on the state's official website.

Delaware Rule 16(c) Financial Report 465 Step 1: Enter the full name, address and annual income of both parties where indicated on page one.

Delaware Rule 16(c) Financial Report 465 Step 2: Under sections A and B, list all minor and adult children who live with either party.

Delaware Rule 16(c) Financial Report 465 Step 3: In section, describe both parties' work history for the last five years.

Delaware Rule 16(c) Financial Report 465 Step 4: Sections D through I require you to list insurance, pension plans and similar assets.

Delaware Rule 16(c) Financial Report 465 Step 5: Note any property or assets you or the respondent have transferred whose value exceeds $1,000 in the last five years.

Delaware Rule 16(c) Financial Report 465 Step 12: Sign and date page 11 in the presence of a notary public or clerk of court.
