INSTRUCTIONS: WASHINGTON D.C. SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONS TO CONSERVATORS

 

 

The form discussed in this article is an information document intended to assist Washington D.C. conservators understand the responsibilities of their appointment. This document can be obtained from the website maintained by the District of Columbia Courts system.

 

Washington D.C. Specific Instructions To Conservators Step 1: The first requirement discussed is that upon appointment the conservator shall qualify by filing bond, as well as an Acceptance and Consent to Jurisdiction form.

 

Washington D.C. Specific Instructions To Conservators Step 2: The second requirement discussed is that the conservator develop an individual conservatorship plan in consultation with the guardian (if any) and, to the maximum extent possible, the ward. This plan must be submitted within 60 days of appointment.
