INSTRUCTIONS: ARTICLES OF INCORPORATION ID 200
Use this form to initiate the formation of a corporation in the state of Idaho. Make a copy of this form before submitting it to the Secretary of State.
“Articles of Incorporation ID 200 Step 1”
State the name of the corporation in article 1. The name of the corporation needs to contain one of the following designations: corporation, incorporated, company, limited, or an appropriate abbreviation. If you decide the use “company” or the abbreviation for a designation, the word “and” or its abbreviation cannot be placed directly beside the word “company.”
“Articles of Incorporation ID 200 Step 2”
State the number of shares the corporation is authorized to issue in article 2. A general business corporation needs at least 1 authorized share in the state of Idaho.
“Articles of Incorporation ID 200 Step 3”
Enter the registered address for the office on the first line of article 3. State the name of the registered agent on the second line. The registered agent must have residency at a street address in Idaho.
“Articles of Incorporation ID 200 Step 4”
The filing party needs to list the name and address for at least one incorporator in article 4. If the filing party wants to list additionally incorporators, attach separate sheet with names and address.

Provide the mailing address for the corporation in article 5. This address is where all future reports are sent.
“Articles of Incorporation ID 200 Step 6”
Articles 1 through 4 contain the minimum information required by state law. The filing party may add additional articles under article 6. You’re strongly encouraged to hire an attorney if you’re drafting additional articles.
“Articles of Incorporation ID 200 Step 7”
At least one incorporator needs to sign their name at the bottom of this form. After signing, provide the printed name below the signature.

The minimum filing fee is $100.00 if the form is typed. The filing fee is $120.00 if the form is not typed, and expedited service will cost $20.00 more. If the filing party has a pre-paid account, provide the customer account number in the cover letter.
