INSTRUCTIONS: NEW JERSEY APPLICATION FOR REAL PROPERTY TAX EXEMPTION FOR CERTAIN CONTAMINATED REAL PROPERTY (Form E.O.Z. – 1)

 

New Jersey business owners may apply for a real property tax exemption for property that has been deemed an "environmental opportunity zone" by the governing body of their municipality as well as a "qualified real property" that has been listed as containing known hazardous discharge by the Department of Environmental Protection. This form E.O.Z. – 1 is found on the section of the official website of New Jersey maintained by the Department of the Treasury.
