INSTRUCTIONS: NEW YORK PETITION FOR ANCILLARY PROBATE The document discussed in this article is used to requested ancillary probate proceedings in New York. New York Petition For Ancillary Probate Step 1: Enter the county in which you are filing on the first blank line.
