INSTRUCTIONS: NEW MEXICO CLAIM FOR ABANDONED PROPERTY DISCLOSURE OF AGREEMENT TO LOCATE PROPERTY (Form RPD-41343)

 

When a New Mexico company is in possession of financial, mineral, insurance or other unclaimed assets, they are legally obligated to make an effort to find the owner and restore their property. Form RPD-41343 is one of the forms which is filed as part of this process, along with an agreement to locate property and a claim for abandoned property. All of these forms can be found on the website of New Mexico's Taxation and Revenue Department.

 

New Mexico Claim For Abandoned Property Disclosure Of Agreement To Locate Property RPD-41343 Step 1: Enter the name of the owner and their Social Security or Employer Identification number.

If they are unsuccessful, the Unclaimed Property office will then publish the names of the owners in question in newspapers throughout the state.
