INSTRUCTIONS: PETITION FOR ALIEN WORKERS (Form I-140) Form I-140 is a form issued by the Department of Homeland Services (DHS). Employers must complete and submit this form in order to obtain a visa for any foreign citizen they wish to employ. The form can be obtained directly from the website of the Department of Homeland Services. A $580 submission fee must be included with the application.
